What's the difference between Good Luck and Good Fortune?

Good Luck is often a one-time event like winning a game of cards, the lottery, a job opportunity or a promotion.

Good Fortune is a continual flow of Insights and Opportunities.

It is the current of Life Force that flows naturally to your destiny - fulfilling your desires. It is also the process of Living the Life of your Dreams.

Lucky Charms and good luck symbols are ancient - and often come from religious or spiritual practices.

Find a lucky shamrock

...and make a wish!

The meaning becomes diluted over time, yet the good, hopeful feelings remain. They attract you by appearance - but their real power comes when you understand your own Focus, Attitude and Expectation.

Use what works! You have social conditioning and genetic patterns that expect good -- or bad -- outcomes from certain symbols, charms, colors, forces in Nature or animals.

Notice what draws you in and also what what triggers feeling anxious or fearful.

Mindfulness will find just the ones that work best for you.

"None of us knows what
the next change
is going to be,
what unexpected opportunity
is just around the corner,
waiting to change all the
tenor of our lives."

Kathleen Norris

and he will
come up with

in his mouth."

Few understand the relationship between what they think and feel - and what they experience.

Your thoughts and feelings and your experiences always match.

Sounds like Karma - doesn't it? It is!

Now it's often referred to as a "Secret" and as "Law of Attraction" and it's simple:

You "Attract" what you expect and what you give your attention to.

When you expect good luck - and you give your attention to a symbol you believe will help you -- you are creating your own good luck.

Your own Expectation is the Magic Genie...

--the Secret everyone is searching for.

"In the real world, given the
lamp of our understanding and
the genie in our genes, we
have an unlimited supply of wishes.

Whatever wishes we put into
the lamp manifest genetically.
If we fill our lamps with healing
words, our genes rush to
fulfill our wishes--within seconds."

Dawson Church, PhD

Creating your own Good Luck

It's all about Focus, feeling and Attitude.

No one and nothing is in your way

No one can interfere with your thoughts, self-talk and feelings - but you.

Using a symbol you like that feels good to you is an excellent place to begin.

How do you find the right one?

Your body is an excellent guide to your feelings (and hence your vibrations).

If you take a bite of icky food, you spit it right out. When you eat something tasty, you want more.

Use that same body sensing mechanism now.

As you skim through the symbols, find what attracts you and what feels good. If your body relaxes and you feel hopeful (or better yet: Expecting good results) then you've found it!

Some people seem to have all the luck --

and the better it gets, the better it gets!

The charm may come from another culture or even ancient history. Your genetic conditioning goes all the way back to the very beginning - and when you react favorably to a lucky charm - it is likely something you are "remembering" genetically.

Do you react fearfully to new ideas or different things?

...sometimes an old genetic habit fires-off - and the fear has nothing to do with you "now."

Also note what you feel an aversion to - especially under "Superstitions."

Those fears came from centuries of negative programming - and are probably are not even conscious now.

Genetic fears from your ancestors can still become active in you when something "triggers" them.

Overcome Fear

is a quick way to ensure good luck in your future.

If you desire one thing and feel fearful at the same time - the fear usually wins out.

Fear has to go for you to be "lucky" in all you attempt.

It's easier than you think, once you see "fear" for what it is.

Fear can be dissolved quickly through the new discovery of Tapping on Meridian Acupuncture points in your body. If you feel fearful or anxious of the future - try it.

Try EFT, the Emotional Freedom Technique, or Tapping - for quick relief using Chinese acupuncture meridians to release energy blockages (fear) and emotional stagnation (anxiety.) It's simple, the information FREE, and many try it on everything - Why? because it works when nothing else does!

Good Luck and Bad Luck

Good Luck symbols have been around since earliest times, and every culture has lucky charms, amulets and talismans.

"Luck never gives;
it only lends."

Some believe in "fate" and "destiny" as something outside themselves that just "happens to them."

Some call it "god's will" and some "the work of the devil."

Lady Luck is fickle--

...and can abandon you with the roll of the dice.

It often depends on if you are winning or loosing, doesn't it?

If you do have a "system" and win regularly - the Casinos soon ban you.

After all - they ONLY want losers, not winners.

If you're looking for Getting Rich Quick - then do the inside work first - and guarantee your "luck" and a successful future.

Winning and loosing streaks come and go --

...and only the pros and the House really "win" the gambling game.

“Sow a thought,
reap an action;
sow an action,
reap a habit;
sow a habit,
reap a character;
sow a character,
reap a destiny,”

Finding Good Luck in the unseen energy patterns.

Many seek "luck" in symbols and fetishes - good luck charms, fortune tellers and astrology, the I Ching and Tarot.

Do you have a Lucky Number? Numbers have many meanings - from the Kabala, numerology, and Sacred Geometry of the Mystery Schools. All numbers and their combinations have a meaning - and most are similar - suggesting a common underlying wisdom.

Do you know your Birth Stone? The Greeks, Romans and Egyptians all believed in gemstones which brought health and magical properties.

Divination is an old, old practice - and as popular today as it ever was.

Some gifted psychic's are able to read the subtle energies now recorded by Kirlain photography as a fact.

How accurate?

It always and only depends on you.

Are you in the habit of attracting good advice, or mis-informataion?

Test: Are you lucky? Or do you blame others for your outcomes? If so, it is likely you asked for - and got unhelpful information.

If you believe in - and expect good answers - you have them. If not, then you are hoping but expecting the worst.

Check your own track record before you plunk down the money.

Many have used charms and advice successfully - and you can be one of them. Are you? If not, fix it.

Predict your own future--'s easier than you think!

Hidden Mysteries within the lucky symbol.

Good Luck symbols go way back in history - to cave drawings and burial rites. Your genetic code includes using a lot of them over many lifetimes. Most are founded in spiritual practices, and are a symbol for a much more profound truth.

The symbols in the Zodiac are a great example. Each contains an entire Gestalt of human behavior potential, and then the patterns, forces, houses and planets come into play for a complex array of possibilities.

The constellations are often animals or gods - symbolizing an old story.

The constellations and their relationship to people and events have been charted for centuries.

Astrology developed over centuries of observation - and in many different cultures.

It's been used to chart the course of nations, determine marriage partners, auspicious times for events and to live a life in harmony, smoothing out the rough places.

Many cultures have developed their own astrologies.

How does it work?

Please! It's a huge study spanning ages with libraries full of data. Tune into the vast cosmic consciousness and open to the Great Mystery of life. This is a great tool for the learned - and a silly game for lost and lonely.

The same is true of lucky charms. When you feel into the Insights below the surface - there is always a gift in Focusing on a Wise thought or idea.

There are hundreds of interpretations from different cultures of the planets-

and surprisingly, most are very similar.

Astrology describes the human psyche in relations to the movements of the plants and natural sun and moon cycles.

Astrology is an ancient art that psychologists have used - as well as Kings and Presidents.

The rhythms and patterns have been observed for centuries, notes made and researched and results compiled.

The planets indicate energy in motion and tendencies and propensities.

Your destiny is still in your hands as you choose your reactions and plan your future. For those that are the victim of fate -- it is far more attitude than destiny.

Your future, your destiny is made moment to moment - yet patterns emerge that are common to all. A road map is helpful in plotting your course - in the same way - Astrology assists in smoothing a path to Good Fortune.

Good Luck colors and common meanings.

The rainbow and pot-of-gold a lifestyle you choose and then do it.

Good Luck symbols always encoded the wisdom of the culture.

Even though the details may be lost, the feelings and attraction remain.

Some colors attract and some repel- it's often tied to genetic patters - from centuries of living with certain colors and avoiding others.

Colors represented different clans - like flags represent countries today.

Some colors could only be worn by the Rulers, and some colors were only worn by certain social classes.

The rainbow

is a commonly shared symbol from many cultures.

The mystery schools, including Eastern Star, Rainbow Girls, and Free Masons - to name but a few societies.

The Rainbow symbol represents the 7 Rays in Esoteric Wisdom Schools, and also of the 7 chakras - colors common to many traditions.

Each color has a specific quality and teaching. Combined, all the colors form the "white light" of Supra-consciousness.

The frequencies of the colors are the building blocks of life. Everything has a frequency or color or sound or vibration. Everything is energy, vibrating and resonating a signal. Law of Attraction or Karma is the force that lines up matching vibrations.

Most have a "lucky" color that they prefer.

Some carry the color in clothing, some jewelry, some paint their homes in it.

Do you wonder what colors you are attracted to?

Organize the clothes in your closet by color and you'll find that one or two dominate.

Look around your home, car, and activities - what colors dominate?

As you go through life the colors that you prefer change.

Can you recall 10 or 20 years ago - and the colors that dominated in your life?

The colors you choose are a subtle message about your preferences and what you value.

Everything is energy, vibrating and resonating a signal.

Law of Attraction or Karma is the force that lines up matching vibrations.

Celtic Good Luck Symbols

The shamrock and horseshoe at the top of the page are Celtic. In the Celtic tradition the horse was sacred to the sun god, and drew the sun chariot across the sky. The horse was associated with the goddess Epona.

Horseshoes protected the "journey of the horse" and so they were thought to have special powers to protect the life path of people as well. A "found" horseshoe was revered for bringing good fortune and was placed over the door to bless all who came and went out.

The shamrock promised 4 charms: One leaf is for faith, one for hope, the third for love, and the fourth for luck.

Ancient symbols from our Celtic Ancestors

Patterns and symbols were woven into cloth for adornment and as crafts and art.

The symbols told of spiritual practices and truths the people lived.

These are not unlike making a Vision Board or posting up affirmations.

This symbol is the prayer for many blessings, represented by the repetition of the "triangle" knot, or the Triquetra. Like the infinity symbol, the three-cornered knot is endless - as is life and nature. It is also the endless flow or balance in life.

A wishing well or fountain was often in the center of town and provided the water for the community.

The concept of the holy trinity is very old.

The Celtic symbol referred to the maiden, mother, and wise woman; and also to Divine Will, Intelligence and Knowledge. It also referred to body, mind and spirit.

Later Christians found the Trinity in their faith and interpreted it as the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

The blacksmith trade was considered very lucky as they worked with fire and iron - providing much needed practical goods.

Often weaving celtic symbols into iron works, they were thought of as magical - combining fire and iron in form.

The flat image of the "hand" is also a good luck symbol and is adorned with jewels or semi-precious stones and worn in many cultures for good luck and to ward off evil spirits.

In Islam, the

Animals as Good Luck Symbols, Fetishes, and charms

Man's well-being, and often life, depended on the animal kingdom. Animals were the beasts of burden, carried man into war, fed and clothed him, hunted game and were used for sport.

Most domestic and many wild animals became symbols of luck and special charms. All encapsulated special qualities and powers and bestowed Good Luck on their carrier.

Animal symbols dominate Astrology

the nature of the animal tells the quality of the sign in a unique way.

Astrology is a complex compilation of information.

The Zodiac describes in myths (or social customs) patterns of the unfolding of destiny.

These same symbols are used in Astrology today.

The animals and myths tell a much deeper story than the symbol itself conveys.

Some animals were seen as Power Totems.

The Dictionary defines a totem as:

"A natural object, often an animal that serves as a distinctive, often venerated emblem or symbol. It is frequently a means of personal or spiritual identity."

The animal was called on for it's strength and prowess. Is it true today? Many animals are near extinction from poachers feeding on the superstitions of frightened people seeking strength.

Seeking "power" to overcome ills and bad luck

has been going on forever. The only real cure is overcoming fear and changing attitudes and desires.

The wise scholars understood the nature of Karma and the Tao (Dao) and Life Force or Chi energy. Most spoke of a natural flow of Good Fortune - and there were many practices to "get into the flow."

Commoners or working people, mostly unable to read or write, spent a good deal of life working simply to eat and survive - and only saw the surface of the symbols in the temples.

They sought relief, help and luck to overcome life's problems in fetishes and amulets.

Although they copied the symbol of the ancient wisdom, few were privy to the truths of the scholars.

That is sadly the case today.

Even though few understand their attraction to a fetish, simply enjoying the Good Luck charm is enough to produce results.

All of the good luck symbols have many (now obscure) meanings and most have been adapted into other cultures.

The tiger represents power, speed, agility- and to some, sexual potency. The tiger has been hunted to extinction in many parts of the world as people seek tiger totems, balms and potions.

The tiger represents power, speed, agility-

The tiger has been hunted to extinction in many parts of the world as people seek tiger totems, balms and potions.

Durga, the Hindu Goddess of salvation and victory rode a tiger into battle against the dark forces - and freed the Gods and mankind from delusion.

Sekmut, the lion headed Goddess is one of the most ancient (from "the first time") of Egyptian Deities. Many Egyptian Gods and Goddesses displayed an animal continence to describe their nature, show their abilities and the gifts they brought to their devotees.

The white horse is a symbol of Good Fortune common to many cultures.

The horse is powerful and beautiful

and is the messenger that carries the Shaman into other dimensions and alternate realities.

The Unicorn is white. Often the symbol of a mythical land of Joy and prosperity - many dream visions and paint and carve the Unicorn as symbols of "breaking through the illusion of this world" to a better world of love and peaceful living.

The Celts revered the white horse and reserved them for their leaders and warfare. It is said that the Celts traded the Hungarian plains for a white stallion. The Celts attributed the white horse to the Sun God, and with the Goddess Epona.

Hindu Brihadaranyaka,

the Horse is associated with Varuna and the cosmos. Additionally, a white horse is believed to be the last incarnation of Vishnu. 4 white horses pulled Krishna (or Arjuna's) chariot.

is said to have left physical life riding a white horse into the other-worlds.

The Chinese Zodiac- honored 12 animals who answered the call of Deity. Each was given a year in the Asian calendar. A person's birth year determines their nature - described in terms of the animal's characteristics. All 12 Animal Totems together become the individual and collective "psychology" shared by mankind in various combinations.

The horse is one of the 12 symbols in the Chinese zodiac. "Horse people" of that sign are practical, loving, enduring, devotional and stable.

The Medicine Wheel is a connection with Great Mystery

...and it encodes the wisdom of the ages.

In Native American cultures the Medicine Wheel was a teaching tool, and a ceremony and a path to the Great Mystery. Animal totems represent the four directions in the medicine wheel, and in some traditions, 8 directions. Each represents a wisdom teaching, along with the insights of the four directions, and the seasons and the elements assigned to each.

Tribal lore varies depending on the animals native to the tribes home territory.

In Shamanic traditions the power to journey is referred to as "riding the Wind Horse."

Often seen in shops and businesses...

to attract prosperity and wealthy clients.

The Japanese golden kitty,

waving her arm

...calling in good fortune...

is shared by other cultures too.

Fun and festive, if it makes you smile -

it's working and bringing you good luck!

The elephant with trunk raised symbolizes great good fortune.

The elephant was a symbol of wealth and in many cultures was the primary means of clearing land and moving heavy objects.

Elephants were also used for transportation and warfare.

Today elephants are still a symbol of wealth and power - and the ancient practice of "owning that power through wearing ivory artifacts and symbols" has endangered the wild elephant.

It is not the ivory that conveys the power, but the rituals and beliefs behind the spiritual carvings.

Wearing ill-gotten ivory cannot empower or enrich anyone - even the poachers, for long.

Asia and Africa honor the elephant.

Owned by the wealthy and royalty elephants also participated in festivities.

Superstitions and Bad Luck

Many respond instantly to black cats-

... either attracted or repelled.

The Black Cat has been both revered and scorned.

The Inquisition horrors searching for "witchcraft" identified the black cat as a common witch companion

and today, the black kittens are the last adopted and given homes.

Common Superstitions-

Fire-breathing dragons populate mythology.

Mythical? Or simply in "other dimensions??"

The dragon - in the East is a symbol of strength and power in many cultures. It represents wisdom and is the companion of the maggi, shaman or seer.

Lucky Treasure Map

A Treasure Map is very Good Luck -- Why not make one for yourself?

Having a Treasure Map is Lucky

--You can make one for yourself. A Vision Board works just like a Treasure Map.

A Vision Board works just like a Treasure Map.

Build a "map" of what you love and are looking for.

Allow your images to work on your subconscious mind.

Advertising uses this same principle with the "billboard" and it works.

It suggests a path that often leads to changes.

How often?

It's a billion dollar business!

Most soon find quick results.

All that is Visioned and out-pictured in a Vision Board shows up in life in interesting and fun ways.

Some find ideas and inspiration that lead to opportunities. Think of it as your subconscious revealing possibilities. A Vision Board makes your commitment and desire public. It engages you to act on your Vision.

Next, "out in life" and through events and experiences you find what you are looking for. Just like magic.

Good luck is digging up a treasure of your own.

Mindfulness is in knowing how to dig deep and find your Inspiration.

Taking action on Opportunities that look promising makes it happen.

Your Good Fortune is the result.

Having a million dollars is Good and Fortunate.

Most think that more cash is all it will take to make them happy - and lots of it means living "happily ever after."

Good Fortune is in knowing how to dig deep and find your Inspiration. Your Good Fortune is the result.

But that's not the case. Most lottery winners and many who inherit large sums are broke again in five years.

The key to having money is having and loving money.

The more you value what you have, the more accumulates.

"Money is not
the path to happiness.

Happiness is the
path to money."

Cheryl Janecky

You can learn to get there much quicker training your mind and emotions than you'll ever get there buying lottery tickets!

A Laughing Buddha is a happy, uplifting Symbol of Joy

"We are what
we think.

All that we are
arises from
our thoughts.

With our thoughts,
we make the world."

There are many versions of a Laughing Buddha.

If it makes you smile then it is attracting the good fortune you seek.

Genes are not lucky...or not - your Attitudes are!

Your Destiny is designed and planned and implemented by you.

Trigger the genes you want to experience - mindfully.

Use the symbols that feel best to you - and attract the good fortune you Focus on.

Your thoughts, feelings and expectations are the forces that attract experiences to you.

Your luck is not in your genes -- it's in your mind.

It is your Attitudes -- and outside influences -- that activate your genes.

Once you begin to make changes in the stress you tolerate, in the life you choose, and in your relationships with others --

you will find that your luck improves considerably.

It is always and only up to you. Why? Because you create your lucky moments now - and your bad luck. Once you realize that, then - and only then can you jump into a flow of Good Fortune.

"An undisciplined mind
leaks vital energy in a
continuous stream of
thoughts, worries, and
skewed perceptions,
many of which trigger
disturbing emotions and
degenerative chemical
processes in the body."

Connie Grauds, RPh

Why not create your own luck?

It's as simple as "feeling" what it is like to have what it is you desire. And repeating it until it "sticks."

When you don't feel like you have what you want- - and you long for it - are keeping yourself from your own good.

Don't do that!!

Pleading and bargaining is the wrong direction - guaranteeing you will receive more to "plead and bargain" for.

A Recipe for Success:

Find what you desire in your life now -- and enjoy and expand it.

This is how you grow abundance into your future...

Now you are praying for more of what you love... as you feel it and feel the gratitude.

Praying from the heart connects you to Source.

Gratitude works better than longing - every time.

Can you BUY good luck?

YES! Buying good luck is easy - you purchase it with your thoughts and feelings! When you feel lucky - you are. If you have a special routine that assures your good luck - naturally it works. As you repeat your ritual you believe in it. You are Focusing on the outcome you want, and expecting good results.

The better it feels the better it gets.

What could be better than that? It's easy, quick, simple and anyone can do it. Yet it doesn't work for most. What's missing? The Attitude, Feeling and Expecting a good outcome.

If you use a lucky charm to protect you from what you believe is inevitable bad luck or loss - then your beliefs counter the potential good affects of the charm. That's like longing and praying for what you "don't have:" then you attract more you "don't have."

"Positive thoughts have
a profound effect on behavior
and genes but only when they
are in harmony with
subconscious programming.

And negative
thoughts have an equally
powerful effect."

Bruce H. Lipton, PhD

Your destiny, your fate, is always and only up to you.

Isn't that worth looking into?

The New Energy Techniques for Quick Results

Stress may be the culprit behind your money or health issues and it can be relieved quickly with the new scientific discoveries.

Tapas Fleming developed the Tapas Acupressure Technique working with acupuncture to relieve the symptoms of allergies. She discovered it also released the emotional trauma behind the symptoms.

This process is an alternative to hypnosis, EFT, NLP and hypnotherapy. TAT does not "tap" on the meridians, but holds one position (then closes with a final position) while gently clearing trauma and anxiety.

It works quickly on the energy body- in a more universal approach for long-standing or broad issues such as health or wealth.

It gently and thoroughly allows your body-mind-emotions to restore balance.

There is no figuring out the details or delving into an emotional issue. Do the process (takes about 5 to 10 minutes) and then allow the integration to continue over the next 24 hours. You get results, asses your feelings and then repeat if necessary.

This practical solution combines ancient acupressure and modern psychology with startling results. Why not give it a try - the information and manual are FREE. All you have to lose is all the stuff you don't want anyway.

How well does it work? In a very short time the Tapas Acupressure Technique spread around the world. You’ll love your results - and it's free to get started.

Do you want QUICK changes for the better?

Train your mind just like
you train and exercise your body:
